Ontario Pump Performance & Efficiency Testing
Toward Municipal Sector Conservation:
A Pump Efficiency Assessment and Awareness Pilot Study
With the support of the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) Conservation Fund, HydraTek has performed performance and efficiency testing on more than 150 water pumps of various sizes across the Province of Ontario in order to raise awareness and drive energy conservation efforts in the sector. This testing component of this 2 year program commencing was completed at the end of 2012 and will culminate in a report, anticipated to be publicly available by mid-2013, which can be used for performance benchmarking and improving planning, design, operation and maintenance activities in the industry.
